At Conductor Power, our Field Leader Training Program is a key initiative designed to close the gap for those transitioning into leadership roles. While many of our foremen, general foremen, and superintendents are promoted based on their technical expertise, we believe strong leadership requires more than just technical aptitude—it demands effective communication, team management, and a commitment to safety and quality. This program provides the essential tools and support to develop these vital leadership skills.
The program includes:
- Professional Construction Leader (PCL) Membership: Participants receive access to a bi-weekly video series and additional resources to strengthen leadership capabilities in areas such as communication, safety, quality, cost management, scheduling, team building, and mentoring.
- Monthly Debrief Sessions: These sessions offer a platform for leaders to reflect on lessons learned, discuss real-world challenges, and explore practical applications of the knowledge gained.
- Peer-to-Peer Learning and Group Coaching: Our program fosters a collaborative learning environment where participants can share experiences and gain insights from fellow leaders, promoting continuous growth and development.
With support from the Workforce Development Team and the Construction and Operations Leadership Teams, the Field Leader Training Program equips our leaders with the skills needed to drive safety, quality, and performance on the job site. Whether you’re a seasoned foreman or an aspiring leader, this program ensures that every participant has the tools and knowledge to succeed.
By investing in the development of our leaders, we are not only building stronger teams but also contributing to the long-term success and sustainability of Conductor Power.
