On 12/8/2023, High Horizons 100MWdc Solar Project, the 2nd largest utility-scale project in West Virginia, reached energization. Conductor Power was responsible for the electrical scope of the project, which utilized a range of technologies such as photovoltaic solar modules, a DC collection system, Power Conversion Units (PCUs) consisting of inverters and medium voltage transformers in a skid configuration, and an AC collection system that will connect a substation.
From top to bottom, our team performed phenomenally well. We’re incredibly proud of everyone’s efforts to ensure safety, which helped us maintain our impeccable .71 EMR and kept us on target with Zero Recordables.
